The standard material used is plywood and galvanized steel, but depending on customer requirements, alternative materials could range from; OSB or an exterior grade.
Knock-down Crates offer the following advantages:

Space Savings. Since the Nefab ExPak aka. Knock-down Crates are fully collapsible, you save valuable floor space in warehouses and can better optimize a truck.

Stackability. Whether collapsed or assembled, the Nefab ExPak is strong enough to be stacked quite high on top of one another.

Assembly time is reduced. The plywood material is much lighter than solid wood, and with galvanized steel as locking mechanisms facilitates much faster assmbly. In addition, packing time can be greatly reduced by using single operators rather than multiple labourers.

Freight Savings. Now you're able to fit more knock-down crates into a truck which also reduces freight costs.
